ITNINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

Depending on the time of your specific flight, board it in the morning or the afternoon for your flight to Srinagar. A Kashmir Travels representative will meet you at the airport and transport you to the houseboat in Dal Lake. Enjoy a shikara ride to nearby destinations. Spend the night in the houseboat after dinner.

Day 2: Gulmarg
After a leisurely breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg. It is suggested that you leave Srinagar early, at approximately 8 AM, because you won't be staying in Gulmarg, in order to avoid traffic and enjoy your gondola tour on schedule. (A gondola ride to get to Khilanmarg is not included in the package, but it can be purchased online; the gondola ride is weather-dependent).Return to Srinagar.


Day 3:Srinagar

After breakfast, take a local sightseeing excursion to the Shankaracharya Hill Temple, the Pari Mahal, and the Grand Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh). You can shop for Kashmiri souvenirs. After the visit, return to the hotel.

Day 4: Pahalgam to Srinagar
Drive to Pahalgam from the hotel in Srinagar after breakfast, stopping along the way to see the Awantipura Ruins. It is suggested to depart Srinagar at 8 AM in order to beat the traffic and reach Pahalgam. Check in at the hotel. On your journey, stop at Chandanwari (3288 metres), Aru Valley, and Betaab Valley The River Sheshnag empties into this valley, which is encircled by snow-capped high peaks and dense pine and deodar forests. Jammu is well connected to cities like Manali, Shimla, Ludhiana, and Delhi thanks to the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation's extensive network of city and tourist buses.

In Jammu, there are several vehicles available for Kashmir. The winding mountain route connecting the two divisions is used by both light and large motor vehicles.
