ITINERARY

DAY 1:ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR

When you arrive in Srinagar, you will be transferred to a houseboat or hotel(your preference).The rest of the day is free for leisure. Dinner and a hotel stay are included.

 

 

Note: From Srinagar to Sonmarg and back to Kargil, a superb bike expedition team (marshal and mechanic) will be waiting for you in the evening.

DAY 2:SRINAGAR-SONAMARG-KARGIL

Following breakfast, we travel to Kargil. On the way, we will pass through the renowned Zojila pass, Drass Village (the second-coldest inhabited site in the world), and the Vijay War Memorial Hall, which offers a breathtaking view of the renowned Kargil War peaks (Tiger, Tololing). By evening, we arrive in Kargil.

DAY 3: Kargil-Leh (216 km / 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast, we'll begin the drive to Leh. On the route, we'll stop at Lamayuru, one of Ladakh's oldest monasteries, and take in the beauty of the lunar landscape. Visits to the Magnetic Hill, the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and the Hall of Fame museum would be additional pit stops. By evening, arrive at Leh. Dinner and stay overnight in Leh.

DAY 4:LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY( 180 km/6-7 hours)
We will travel by Khardung-La, which is 18,380 feet above sea level and is the highest motorable pass in the world, today. As we continue on this path, we would see the terrain transform. We're going to the Diskit Monastery. In the valley, you can also ride on double-humped camels (on your own). Today,
, we'll be camping out amidst the breathtaking mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in a camp.

 

DAY 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso via Shyok river (170 km; 7-8 hours)

After breakfast, head to Diskit Monastery (Big Buddha), from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Nubra Valley, and then take the adventurous Shyok River journey to Pangong. After lunch, continue driving for another hour to Pangong Lake. Enjoy stargazing at Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at camp.


DAY 6:War Memorial at Rezang-la and Pangong Tso (07 to 08 hrs)

Rezang La Memorial, which was built in 1963, is a testament to the tenacity and unwavering bravery of our Indian soldiers. It is a location where numerous Indian troops gave the ultimate sacrifice to save our nation from China in 1962. China was not allowed to enter Leh during the fighting. Rajnath Singh paid respect to the 114 men who lost their lives on November 18, 1962, during the battle at Rezang La. Dinner and camping overnight.

Enjoy the beautiful sunrise view on the beach in the early morning. Drive back to Leh after breakfast, stopping along the way to see Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. When our driver drops you off in the Leh market, you are free to explore on your own. Later, a vehicle will drop you off at the gas station. Dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 8:DEPARTURE

We say goodbye to this fantastic tour and head towards the Leh Airport. It's time to return to your normal routine with a bag full of wonderful memories and tales to last a lifetime!

HOW TO ACCESS SRINAGAR:

AIR

The airport in Srinagar is known as Sheikh ul Alam Airport (IATA code SXR). With frequent flights from Srinagar to Delhi, Mumbai, and Chandigarh, this airport is well linked. The distance between the airport and the city centre is only 15 kilometres.


Via Train:
One must arrive at either Banihal railway station in order to get to Srinagar by train. You can hire cabs or taxis from the Srinagar Railway station to get to this wonderful location.

By Road:
