ITINERARY

JAMMU TO KATRA(50 km; 2 hours)

You will meet a company representative and driver when you arrive at Jammu's airport or train station. You will go to the holy city of Katra after you get in your car. Register at the hotel. Stay overnight in Katra. You can visit the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine at night as well.


DAY 2:Katra

Head to the Vaishnodevi shrine in the morning. Later, go back to the hotel in Katra where you will spend the night.

DAY 3: Katra to Patnitop(60 km; 2 1/2 hours)

Check out of Katra after breakfast, then drive to Patnitop, the lone hill station in the Jammu district. Check into your hotel after arrival. The remainder of the day is free for leisurely exploration on foot or by pony (on direct payment). Dinner and a night's rest
can be found in the hotel.


DAY 4: Patnitop-Pahalgam (285 km; 7 1/2 hours)

Check out of Patnitop today after breakfast, then travel to Pahalgam. In Pahalgam, check into your hotel after arriving. The evening is available for recreational pursuits. We'll be staying at a motel in Pahalgam for dinner and the night.

DAY 5:Pahalgam to Gulmarg(140 km/5 12 hours)

 

Check out of the hotel and head to Gulmarg after breakfast. Visit the Awantipura Ruins on the way. Check into your hotel after arrival. Please be aware that Gulmarg does not permit outside vehicles. You must use a local automobile.
Ponies are available for direct payment because the local taxi union forbids the use of outside vehicles for tourism. Driver will aid with reserving a local taxi or pony. The evening is available for recreational pursuits. We'll be staying at a hotel in Gulmarg for dinner and the night.


DAY 6:Gulmarg-Srinagar route (90 kilometres; 3 1/2 hours trip).

Check out of the hotel and head to Srinagar after breakfast. Check into your houseboat after arrival. Take a shikara ride on Dal Lake later in the evening. The houseboat in Srinagar will be where you spend the night and dinner.

DAY 7:Sonmarg excursion from Srinagar (90 km; 4 hours)

Leave for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg after breakfast. Enjoy the stunning glaciers and snow-capped peaks. By evening, head back to your accommodation in Srinagar. The hotel in Srinagar will be where you spend the night and your meal.

DAY 8:Srinagar

Enjoy today's local Srinagar sightseeing, which includes the Shankaracharya Temple, the Mughal Gardens, and the Carpet Weaving Factories. You can go to shopping in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

DAY 9:Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast today, check out of your hotel and head to the airport in Srinagar.
