Itinerary

Take a trip to the Aru Valley, tour the saffron fields, take a boat ride on the Dal Lake, and stay on a Kashmiri houseboat. Schedule Day 1
Srinagar City Tour
Kind greetings from Srinagar, The Lake City. You will be greeted and received by a representative and driver from Kashmir Travels when you arrive at the Srinagar airport.

You'll head to the houseboat after getting in your car. After checking in, move on to Srinagar sightseeing.

The renowned Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), Chashme Shahi Garden, and Shankaracharya Temple will all be on your itinerary. Take a shikara ride on the Dal lake later in the evening.

Houseboat stay in Srinagar for the night.


Day 2: Pahalgam excursion from Srinagar (100 km; around 312 hours' drive one way)
Go for a day trip to Pahalgam (2133 mts), popularly known as "The valley of Shepherds" or "Trekker's Paradise," after breakfast at the hotel. The centre of the Indian film industry is Pahalgam.

During the way, you will view a lot of rice fields, the lovely countryside, and the Awantipur ruins, which are the remains of a Lord Vishnu temple that was constructed by King Awantiverma more than one hundred years ago. Arrive at Pahalgam and leave on your own for an excursion to Chandanwadi, the starting place of the Amarnath Yatra and the Betab Valley (on your own).

The valley on the route to Chandanwari was given the name Betaab in honour of the bollywood film of the same name! Formerly known as Hajan Valley, it was given a new name following the film's premiere because a significant portion of the action took place there.

After lunch, go to Aru Valley (on your own) or continue as time allows. Aru Valley is a tourist destination 11 km from Pahalgam. It serves as the starting point for treks to Tarsar Lake and the Kolahoi Glacier and is renowned for its picturesque meadows and mountains. All of these activities will be done on your own dime; the village is located on the left bank of the Aru River, a tributary of the Lidder River.

Return in the evening to Srinagar to spend the night at a hotel.

Note: Using outside vehicles for sightseeing is not permitted in Pahalgam. Inside the city of Pahalgam, only local taxis are permitted to travel. All external transportation will pick up and drop off at the hotel.

Day 3: Tour from Srinagar to Gulmarg (60 km; approximately 2-3 hours of driving time one way)
Leave the hotel for a day trip to Gulmarg after breakfast. Passing through vibrant villages and rice fields provides you a glimpse into Kashmir's illustrious cultural history. Gulmarg, often known as a field of flowers, is one of the most stunning hill towns in the entire world. It has Gulmarg and the highest golf course in the entire world.is renowned for other winter activities like skiing.

Road Situation

Delhi and Srinagar are linked by NH 44. The roads in Jammu are in excellent shape.
The uphill route begins from Udhampur, and until Chenani Nashri Tunnel it is patchy and rugged, so travellers may encounter a difficult ride.
The Ramban to Verinag path is primarily narrow. Because of the poor road conditions, this is a difficult section.
The roads from Qazigund to Srinagar are in excellent condition.The road trip is made more appealing by the scenery and its good condition.
