ITINERARY


Day 1 of the itinerary: Arrival in Ladakh


You will be greeted and transported to your accommodation after landing at Leh's airport.


The remainder of the day is free time.

Hotel stay overnight.

 

DAY 2 Acclimatize At Leh & Enjoy A Half-Day Of Touring (Shey & Thiksey Monasteries)


After breakfast today, an MUV will be made available to you.


See the Shanti Stupa, which Japanese monks constructed to encourage world peace.


See the Leh Palace afterwards, which was constructed in the 17th century in the finest Tibetan architectural tradition.


No road captain would be available for this day after you moved on to tour the monasteries of Shey and Thiksey with a local guide.


At 7 o'clock in the evening, you would get to choose whatever 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycles you want. The remainder of the evening is free time.

DAY 3 Leh-Khardungla-Nubra Valley (135 kms)


Drive 135 km to Nubra Valley, also known as Dorma or "the valley of flowers," this morning via Khardungla Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world (5602 mts).


Upon arrival, register at your camp.


See the main Diskit Monastery and the enormous Maitreya Buddha statue, which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh, later in the day.


Then, take a ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel amid Hunder's white sand dunes.


The remainder of the evening is available for personal enjoyment.


Spend the night in the camps.


DAY 4 Nubra-Khardungla- Leh (135kms)


Following breakfast, return to Leh by car.


Located at a distance if 39 kilometres from Leh, Khardungla Pass will be visted on the way. (Mountain Pass at 5578 m / 18300 ft.) Khardung-La, which translates to "Pass of Lower Castle," is a crucial caravan route in Central Asia between Leh and Kashgar.


The remainder of the evening is available for personal enjoyment.


Spend the night in a hotel.


Day 5: River Rafting and a Half-Day Trip to Alchi


Visit the Military Hall of Fame, a magnificent museum built by the Indian army, after breakfast today. You can view the biographies of notable defence figures, pictures of the weapons used during the Kargil War, information about the heroes of Siachen and their everyday tools, as well as information about the Ladakhi way of life.


Also, you will go to the stunning Gurudwara Pathar Sahib built in honour of Guru Nanak.


Next, we travel to Alchi, a little settlement in the Indus Valley at a height of 3500 metres (11500 feet), which is located 67 kilometres (km) west of Leh.


See the magnificent Magnetic Hill, a gravity hill in Ladakh, India, close to Leh. According to legend, the hill has magnetic characteristics powerful enough to draw vehicles upward and force passing aircraft to fly higher to avoid magnetic interference.

DAY 6 Leh to Pangong Lake


After breakfast today, travel 134 kilometres to Pangong Tso lake (83 mi)) long, stretching from Tibet to India. China occupies 60% of the lake's length.


You will cross Changla, the third-highest motorable road in the world, before arriving at Pangong Lake.


It is on the road from Leh to Pangong Lake.


Spend the night in camp.


Day 7: Pangong Lake to Leh


This morning after breakfast move towards Leh. Spend the rest of the day shopping at the neighbourhood market after arriving in Leh.


Go back to the hotel after returning the motorcycles to the garage.


Spend the night in a hotel.


Day 8: DEPARTURE


Today, bid farewell as you are taken to the airport in Leh for your next flight.

Toyota Innova, Scorpio, Mahindra Xylo, or a similar back-up support vehicle will be used to transport non-riders and pillagers who are unable to ride the motorcycle and their bags
