Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Manali to Leh and through the Rohtang Pass


After breakfast, depart from Manali and begin the drive to Leh, passing across the Rohtang pass, which is 339 metres above sea level.
Jispa is where you will spend the night after a five to six-hour drive.

DAY 2 Jispa to Leh
Leaving Jispa early in the morning, ride through four high-altitude passes, including Baralacha.Lachulung la (4,890 m), the Nakeela pass (4,920 m), Tanglang la (5,328 m), and Lachulung la (5,059 m) before reaching the Ladakh Valley.It could take you up to 10 hours to travel the 330 kilometres required to get there.

Visit Deepak Tal along the way, which serves as a mirror to reflect the tranquil surroundings of the snow-capped peaks.The Zingzing Bar, one of the tallest roadside bars in the world, is a convenient place to stop for a moment.

See the Suraj Tal, also known as "the lake of the sun god," which appears to be a lush emerald located in the barren Mountains and is shrouded in both mystery and splendour.
Your next stop is the gorgeous Baralacha La Pass, which is located at a height of 16000 feet and provides you with some breath-taking views of the convergence of the three valleys.
Take advantage of the adjacent Bharatpur tent colony for lunch. Enjoy the journey through Gata Loops, a network of 21 hairpin bends that leads to the summit of NakeeLa Pass, one of the highest motorable routes in the Ladakh region. Lachung La Pass, another high mountain pass in the area, would be your next resting place. Visit the More Plains, a vast area of green space surrounded on all sides by the powerful Himalayas, and make a photo stop there. Have lunch at Pang or somewhere nearby.

Once you arrive in Leh around evening, do the check-in procedures and have a nap.

Day 3: Go to the monastery in Alchi.


Drive to Alchi Monastery after breakfast, stopping along the way to observe the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, as well as to see Magnetic Hill and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. A motorcycle will be made available for the day to motorcycle enthusiasts.
Visit the exquisitely designed Shanti Stupa in the evening to begin your tour as a way of honouring the 2500 years of Buddhism.

See the Leh Palace, which was constructed in the 17th century and will provide you an insight into Leh's former heyday. Then, go shopping for Tibetan handicrafts at the nearby Leh Market or have some delectable Ladakhi food at one of the many nearby cafes. Overnight in Leh.

DAY 4 Nubra Valley


To go to Nubra Valley from Leh, you must travel 150 kilometres and pass through Khardung.
The highest motorable road in the world is La (5,359 m).On the banks of the Shyok River, the Nubra valley is a frigid desert that is bordered to the north by the Siachen Glacier.
Stop at the cafe on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world.

Once leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you enter the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes.Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Ladakh, which also houses a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.
Due to its location along the historic silk route, this region is home to the gorgeous double-humped Bactrian Camel Ride.

Later, spend time camping with a bonfire under a starry sky.Spend the night in the Nubra Valley campground.

Day 5: Return by car to Leh


Following breakfast, ride your mountain bikes back to Leh from Khardung La.The journey is 40 kilometres long from the pass's summit.
Stay the night in Leh.


DAY 6. INDULGE IN RIVER RAFTING

Go rafting on the Indus River to indulge in some high-adrenaline excitement.
The optimum time to go rafting is from late June to early September when water levels are at their highest due to snowmelt.
The rapids typically have a rating of I., II, and in some location’s grades III through IV. A breath-taking view of the Ladakh and Zanskar mountain ranges can be had from the Indus. Explore the city after the rafting. Overnight in Leh.


DAY 7 VISIT Tso Moriri

Visit Tso Moriri, the most picturesque lake in Ladakh; getting there would take some time.
Spend the night at Tso Moriri.

 

DAY 8 Pangong Tso

A muddy road leads to the incredibly beautiful Pangong, but one still enjoys cycling across it.
Pangong Tso, one of the highest altitude saltwater lakes, will welcome you with its shifting hues of blue, green, and red.

The Shyok River and mountains can be seen on one side as you spend the rest of the day visiting the area around Pangong Lake.

You can even act out scenes from your favourite Bollywood flicks, such as 3-idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and revel in the setting in true Bollywood fashion. Dinner and an overnight stay at a campground close to Pangong Lake.

Day 9: Return to Leh.

Return to Leh after breakfast so you have the rest of the day to explore the market.
You can go via the stunning Chang-la pass, which is nearly 17,000 feet high and offers views of several Marmot families, from Pangong Tso to Leh. Moreover, you can go to the Chang-la Café, which is close to the Changla Pass.

Visit the Changla Baba Temple, which is located on the summit and is thought to be the guardian of travellers to Chang La, the name of the pass.Visit the Druk Padma School as well, which is famous for being the location where the final scene of the movie "3 Idiots" was filmed.

If time allows, one might stop by the exquisitely designed Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace along route. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 10:
DEPARTURE
You will be dropped at the airport and you take wonderful memories home.
