Things worth knowing about Vaishno Devi:

Lady Durga is thought to have visited Nagrota, Ban Ganga, and Ardh Kuwari before finally shedding her human form at the main cave's sanctum sanctorum.

According to folklore, Maa Vaishno Devi hid from Bhairo Nath Ji at midway Ardhkuwari for nine months.

It is thought to be very lucky to visit the temple during the Navratras since Maa Vaishno Devi is believed to be present to see and bless all of the devotees.

A visit to the temple of Bhairo Nath is also thought to be necessary for your Yatra to be declared complete.

When there is less of a rush, the traditional cave pathway opens, allowing worshippers to reach the temple via the original route followed by Maa Vaishno.
