This well-known waterfall is situated 75 km from Srinagar in the south-western portion of the valley. The melody of its gushing waters can be heard from a mile due to the enormous amount of water that crashes down on the rocks below. Recently, plans have been developed to allow visitors to get as close as possible to the edge of the fall, adding an element of adventure to waterfall view at Aharbal.
