DAY 1 :

Arrival in Srinagar. Late afternoon departure to Pahalgam for overnight stay.Pahalgam is a beautiful hill resort and a famous tourist station located to the south of Srinagar on the banks of Lidder River.

DAY 2 :

Early morning drive to Chandanwari, 15 km from Pahalgam. The actual trek starts from Chandanwari. On the first day we will reach Sheeshnag, 13 km from Chandanwari. The ascent is mostly steep. Camp in Sheeshnag for overnight stay.

DAY 3 :

This day the trekking continues from Sheeshnag to Mahagunas. Then there follows a mild descent up to Panchtarni. Panchtarni is situated at the foot of Bhairva mount at an altitude of more than 14000 ft. From Panchtarni we shall move to Amarnath, on the same day. Visit Amarnath cave and the wonderful ice lingam inside. After completing the visit, return to Panchtarni for overnight stay.

DAY 4 :

Today we shall move back to Chandanwari. The total trek takes around 12-15 hours. From Chandanwari, drive straight to Pahalgamfor an overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 5 :

Return to Srinagar early morning. Take a rest after the tough journey. Late afternoon sightseeing and shopping in Srinagar city centre. Adore an overnight stay in Srinagar in your houseboat

DAY 6 :

Departure after breakfast.
