DAY 01 : ARRIVAL SRINAGAR

DAY 02 : SRINAGAR - NARANAG - TRUNKHUL (by car 65 kms)

Next day an early morning leave from Srinagar towards Narang, a 65 kilometres drive through the intrinsic Kashmir villages in the Sind valley an you will arrive in Narang. The travellers have half a day to themselves to visit the monumental 8th century Shiva temple, believed to be one of the earliest. The rest of the day the trekkers can begin their expedition towards Trunkhul the base camp for the overnight stay.

DAY 03 : TRUNKHOL – GANGABAL

Trunkhol the ‘meadows of alpine flowers’ are scenic and beautiful, trekking through the peaceful valley reach Gangabal Lake.Gangabal Lake is at the foothills of the Mount Harmukh. There are various options available in order to trek to the lake; horses as well as foot means can be used. The trek route is fun filled and gives the traveller an opportunity to entice themselves in the Kashmiri culture. Shepherds flocking their sheep’s and plenty of Gujjars can be viewed enroute.

DAY 03 : TRUNKHOL – GANGABAL

DAY 05 : GANGABAL - NARANAG – SRINAGAR

On the return journey a fast back trek to Trunkhol through the beautiful meadows of Bodpathri, once again down the steep ButSheri slopes to Narang. Spend the evening at the Houseboat Dal Lake and prepare once again to depart from the Paradise on Earth. Remember to pack down as many souvenirs and memories you can to enjoy it once again back home.

DAY 06 : DEPARTURE DAY

The last day can be spent visiting a few places at Srinagar as per schedule convenience. The assignee shall ensure a safe departure from Srinagar via Airport or chosen means of transport.
